Report: Xavien Howard accused of making secret sex videos and sharing them

Miami Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard reportedly is being accused of making secret sex videos and sharing them, according to a lawsuit.

Howard’s lawyer said there is no merit to the lawsuit, and they will seek to dismiss it.

In December, Howard was reportedly being sued for assault and battery by the mother of his children.

The 30-year-old is preparing to play his eighth season with the Dolphins since entering the NFL in 2016. He has been named to the Pro Bowl the past three seasons and four times overall. He was third in the voting for NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the 2020 campaign, when he lead the league with 10 interceptions.

However, he had just one interception last season. His 45 combined tackles were his fewest in the past three seasons, though he was dealing with groin and knee injuries.

Howard earlier this offseason responded “f— ‘em” to those who may be sleeping on him this season.

Miami finished 27th in the NFL in passing yards allowed last season and moved to improve the secondary by trading for star cornerback Jalen Ramsey this offseason. But the 28-year-old injured his knee in an early training camp practice and needed surgery. His timeline to return is unclear, although he has been posting positive updates about his recovery.

Howard during training camp recognized defensive back Kader Kohou as an emerging player, and the cornerback himself said the unit will be selling itself short if it is not one of the best in the NFL.

Howard’s troubling situation is another one involving a star Dolphins player this offseason after wide receiver Tyreek Hill allegedly assaulted a man. No charges were filed, and the sides reached a settlement on the issue, though the NFL reportedly launched an investigation into the incident, which means Hill could end up facing some type of discipline from the league.

The Dolphins have high expectations this season as they try to win a playoff game for the first time since the 2000 season. A situation like the one currently involving Howard could make that attempt more difficult.
