Tyreek Hill says he wants to box ‘bully’ Jalen Ramsey

Miami Dolphins superstar receiver Tyreek Hill has never been one to keep his feelings to himself.

In fact, he spent much of the 2022 NFL offseason talking up his new quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. In fact, he spoke so glowingly of Tagovailoa that some even thought it was making a negative impact on the young quarterback.

In a recent interview, Hill changed the topic of conversation. However, the topic was no less interesting. While speaking with Jake Paul, Hill said that he would fight Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey if he had to choose one other athlete to fight.

“I really want some of Jalen Ramsey though, for real,” Hill said when asked which athlete he’d want to face off against in a boxing match. “If we just being completely honest right here. … I just wanna go at the bully.”

It doesn’t seem as though there is a history of animosity between the two players. While Hill was injured during a Ramsey tackle back when Hill was on the Kansas City Chiefs and Ramsey was on the Jacksonville Jaguars, the hit itself did not seem dirty or dangerous in any way.

Perhaps Hill just wants to fight Ramsey because he knows that it would be a real challenge for him. The two are very different when it comes to body type, and Ramsey would definitely have the upper hand in a head-to-head match.

Hill is one of the smaller elite receivers in the league right now and just 5-foot-10 and 191 pounds. Instead of using his length to dominate defenders, he uses his otherworldly quickness and speed.

As for Ramsey, he’s got the typical frame of a lockdown corner in the NFL. He’s 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds.

Beyond that, while Hill’s entire career is predicated on avoiding contact and slinking past defenders, Ramsey’s career is based on his ability to get physical with players on his side of the field.

At the end of the day, a fight between these two players will have to exist as just a hypothetical. With the amount of money Ramsey and Hill each get paid, there’s no way members of the Rams or Dolphins front office would ever let a spectacle like this go forward.
