Video: Jaylen Waddle battles Chad Johnson in epic 1-on-1

Miami Dolphins youngster Jaylen Waddle had a fantastic start to his NFL career in the 2021 season.

By the looks of it, his offseason is starting off on the right foot as well. Waddle was recently seen going up against legendary NFL receiver Chad Johnson.

Johnson has been out of the league for quite some time now, but he absolutely has a lot of wisdom to offer young receivers such as Waddle.

Last season, Waddle had one of the best seasons out of any rookie in his class. He finished the season with a whopping 104 receptions for 1,015 yards and six touchdowns. While his first-year accomplishments were somewhat overshadowed by those of fellow rookie receiver Ja’Marr Chase, there is no doubt that Waddle is a star on the rise in South Florida.

To make matters even more interesting, Waddle will be playing alongside arguably the most talented wide receiver he’s ever played with next season in Tyreek Hill. That’s certainly saying a lot considering the elite talent Waddle played with while at the University of Alabama.

Together, Hill and Waddle will make up an absurdly fast wide receiver duo, which should be a lot of fun to watch. As fans of the NFL know so well, speed kills.

While there are still some question marks on Miami’s roster as the offseason rolls on, the team’s group of wide receivers certainly is not a concern.
