Top 10 Fantasy Sleepers at the Quarterback Position for 2015

1. Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings

When you take a look at Teddy Bridgewater’s numbers from his rookie season, they don’t exactly impress you—14 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and an 85.2 quarterback rating.

However, when you take a closer look at the statistics, his play from last season and his supporting core for the 2015 season, Bridgewater could very well emerge as an elite option in fantasy football this season.

According to Pro Football Focus, his accuracy percentage, which factors in drops and throwaways, ranked third in the league behind veterans Drew Brees and Alex Smith. He ranked eighth in deep ball accuracy, and had the best completion percentage in the league over the season’s final five games (72.1 percent).

His arsenal includes RB Adrian Peterson, the runner-up in MVP voting during the 2013 season, deep-ball threat Mike Wallace and rising young receiver Charles Johnson.

Remember when no one expected Daunte Culpepper to emerge as an elite quarterback 15 years prior for the Vikings when he threw for 33 touchdowns and led the franchise to an NFC Championship appearance in just his second season in the league?

Don’t be shocked if Bridgewater surprises many in a somewhat similar fashion with his 2015 season. He should be considered a low-end starting option at the beginning of the season, and should only get better as the year progresses.

Writer’s Note: All rankings based off of CBS Sports’ fantasy player rankings.
