A social media influencer who has accused Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill of breaking her leg is now requesting a jury trial, and that trial could allegedly take place during the upcoming 2024 NFL season and impact Hill’s availability, according to talk show host Andy Slater.
SLATER SCOOP: The social influencer suing Tyreek Hill, accusing him of breaking her leg, is now asking for an immediate jury trial.
If the judge grants this request, the next available date could be during NFL season.

The woman in question is a 34-year-old named Sophie Hall. Back in February, it came to light that Hall is suing Hill for battery, assault and negligence after the latter allegedly knocked the former to the ground while the two were doing football drills, which caused Hall to break her leg.
Hall supposedly needed reconstructive surgery and months of physio following the incident.
“Tyreek Hill, a National Football League superstar, perennial Pro Bowler, First Team All-Pro and world class athlete nicknamed the ‘Cheetah’ for his incredible combination of strength and speed, makes his living humiliating and outperforming his competition on the football field,” Hall’s complaint states.
“Unfortunately, after getting ‘humiliated’ in front of friends and family when he was knocked backwards during a friendly football lesson by his friend Sophie Hall, Tyreek became enraged and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg.”
But in March, Hill’s lawyer — Julius B. Collins — protested Hall’s claims and alleged that the lawsuit was filed in order to slander Hill’s name.
“However, in the statement released to ESPN on Thursday, Hill’s attorney, Julius B. Collins, disputed Hall’s allegations and said they believe the lawsuit was filed to ‘generate bad publicity for Mr. Hill in an attempt to ‘scare tactic’ him into personally covering the cost of Ms. Hall’s medical bills,’” wrote Marcel Louis-Jacques.
Additionally, Hill claimed that Hall broke her leg after tripping over a dog while the two performed football drills.
If Hill has to miss any of the 2024 NFL season because of a trial, the Dolphins — and particularly quarterback Tua Tagovailoa — will likely feel his absence. After all, Hill was arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL during the 2023 regular season, considering he tallied a league-high 1,799 receiving yards in his second season as a member of the Dolphins organization.
Hill also led the NFL in two more notable receiving statistics in total receiving touchdowns (13) and receiving yards per contest (112.4).
Without Hill’s consistent presence on the field, it’s arguable as to whether Tagovailoa would have enjoyed such a productive season in his fourth season in Miami. The signal-caller threw for a league-high 4,624 yards along with 29 touchdowns compared to only 14 interceptions and 222 first downs.
Fans of the Dolphins should stay on the lookout for any updates regarding Hill’s situation with Hall and when the trial will take place, if at all. Here’s to hoping that folks will receive more information on the lawsuit in the near future with the start of the 2024 season just a couple of months away.
