Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has revealed that linebackers Bradley Chubb and Cameron Goode as well as offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn will begin the 2024 regular season on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, meaning they will all be sidelined for at least the first four games of Miami’s 17-game slate.
McDaniel also claimed that it remains to be seen as to whether wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. โ who missed each of Miami’s three preseason games with an undisclosed injury โ will start the campaign on the PUP list. Not too long ago, McDaniel provided a noncommittal updateย when asked if he believes Beckham will practice with the Dolphins before the season starts.
โIโm hopeful about a lot of things,โ McDanielย saidย when asked if heโs optimistic about Beckham practicing with Miami before the start of the season. โAgain, Iโm not nervous about it. You hope, but you have to listen to peopleโs bodies and be very communicative. I know heโs feeling very optimistic about how things are developing, but you just take one day at a time. And like I said before, Iโm not in a position of nervousness because of the way that heโs been involved. Heโs found a way to be a leader of sorts without playing. Thatโs tough to do, but his mindsetโs right, and so I feel good about that.โ
Dolphins LBs Bradley Chubb & Cam Goode + OL Isaiah Wynn will begin the regular season on physically unable to perform (PUP) list, per HC Mike McDaniel. They will miss at least the 1st four games.
McDaniel said itโs TBD whether Odell Beckham Jr. will start on PUP.

The Dolphins seemingly don’t have much time left to come to a decision about putting Beckham on the PUP list prior to the regular season, as the start of the 2024 regular season is coming up on the horizon. Miami has a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars slated for Sept. 8, which is just under one fortnight away at this time.
Chubb and Goode โ both of whom will be on the PUP list for quite some time โ were consistently on the field with Miami’s defensive unit during the 2023 regular season. The former started 16 of the Dolphins’ 17 contests during that span, and the latter suited up in all 17 of Miami’s games, even though he didn’t log a single start.
Chubb put up the best individual numbers of the two linebackers last season. He totaled 73 combined tackles, 45 solo tackles, 28 assisted tackles, 22 quarterback hits and 11 tackles for loss in his first full season as a member of the Dolphins.
Finally, Wynn arguably played the smallest role of the three players who will start the upcoming regular season on the PUP list during the 2023 regular season. He sat out more than half of Miami’s regular-season games and also didn’t play in the Dolphins’ playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
