Tyreek Hill on his agent revealing issues between Dolphins players and Vic Fangio: ‘Drew the feds’

Tyreek Hill’s agent in Drew Rosenhaus recently revealed that several Miami Dolphins players had rocky relationships with former defensive coordinator Vic Fangio, and Hill responded by calling him “the feds.”

Fangio and the Dolphins decided to part ways earlier this week.

The 65-year-old spent just one season as the defensive coordinator for the Dolphins franchise.

Hill, on the other hand, has played two seasons in Miami. He was arguably the best player in the league at his position in his second season with the Dolphins, as he led the NFL in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and receiving yards per game.

The wide receiver put together several herculean performances throughout the 2023 regular season. In the Dolphins’ first game of the season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 10, he totaled 215 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns on 11 receptions.

In the following month against the New York Giants on Oct. 8, Hill finished with 181 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown, with his longest reception of the game being for 69 yards. He followed up his performance against the Giants by racking up 163 receiving yards against the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 15.

But Hill didn’t play his best football to end the season. He failed to reach 100 receiving yards in any of the Dolphins’ last four games of the 2023 regular season.

In the Dolphins’ playoff loss to Hill’s former team in the Kansas City Chiefs, he had one of his more forgettable showings of the season. He logged 62 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown in a game the Dolphins lost by 19 points.

Hopefully for Hill and the Dolphins, they will be able to learn from their mistakes near the end of the regular season and playoffs and get ready to make a deep playoff run next season.

Considering Rosenhaus’ claim that Fangio didn’t get along with several players on the Dolphins, perhaps it was for the best that the two sides opted to go their separate ways.
