Jalen Ramsey gets into testy exchange with Philadelphia Eagles fan during Miami Dolphins loss

Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey didn’t play in the team’s loss against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, but he was seen getting into it with an Eagles fan during the game.

The Dolphins lost the game by a final score of 31-17 to fall to 5-2 on the season. Miami and Philadelphia were tied with three points apiece at the end of the first quarter, but the Eagles outscored the Dolphins 28-14 the rest of the way.

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown starred against the Dolphins, seeing as how he ended up with 137 yards and one touchdown on 10 receptions in the win. Tyreek Hill finished with the most receiving yards for Miami, as he totaled 88 of them on 11 catches. His longest reception was for 27 yards.

Jalen Hurts outplayed Tua Tagovailoa on Sunday. The former threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns while completing 23 of his 31 pass attempts. Meanwhile, the latter threw for 216 yards — a season low — and just as many touchdowns (one) as interceptions.

Ramsey was chosen with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and is in his eighth season in the NFL and first with the Dolphins franchise after spending time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Rams.

He accumulated 88 combined tackles, four interceptions, four tackles for loss and two quarterback hits in 17 games played with the Rams during the 2022 regular season (all starts). Also, he forced two fumbles and recovered one.

Ramsey’s impact on the defensive side of the ball last season earned him the sixth Pro Bowl appearance of his NFL career.

Dolphins fans shouldn’t be too discouraged about the team’s loss to the Eagles. After all, the Eagles made it to the Super Bowl last season and are one of the best teams in the NFL right now.

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will have a chance to rectify Sunday’s loss when they take on Mac Jones and the New England Patriots on Oct. 29. The Patriots own a 2-5 record on the season and are fresh off a 29-25 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
