Video: Miami Dolphins players hilariously show off their best dance moves

The Miami Dolphins have been holding organized team activities recently in preparation for the 2022 season.

The Dolphins’ social media team set up “Camp Cam” to ask random questions to players and coaches leaving the field after sessions. In one of the recent videos, they were told to pick who they believe is the best dancer on the team. That resulted in some entertaining responses.

While some of the players had no problem showing off their dance moves and nominating themselves for the title, the funniest answer probably came from head coach Mike McDaniel. After nonchalantly coughing out loud, the 39-year-old coach blurted out his own name.

It must be great for fans to see the team having a fun time in the offseason. The past seasons have not been kind to Dolphins players and their supporters. It has been five years since Miami made a playoff appearance. Even that ended quickly, as the Pittsburgh Steelers routed the Dolphins 30-12 in the Wild Card Round in 2017.

The hope now is that roster changes in recent months will help the squad improve on the field and build chemistry off it. Earlier this week, defensive back Nik Needham spoke glowingly of the culture shift the organization has undergone since McDaniel took the helm.

Only time will tell if the “different vibe” Needham mentioned will translate to wins during the regular season. What is clear is that the Dolphins have a lot of work to do if they want to become a playoff contender this coming season.
