A lot of people are anticipating the upcoming Game 7 match between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

One of them is Miami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker, who posted an Instagram story stating that he needs to get home as soon as possible so he can watch and support the Heat.

The Heat are one win away from advancing to the NBA Finals, which they also reached in the 2019-20 season. The organization is trying to win its first title since 2013.

As for the Dolphins, fans are hoping that the Heat’s success will serve as inspiration for the team. It has been several years since the Dolphins had a taste of the postseason. In the 2016 NFL season, they made the playoffs but quickly lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Baker did not get to experience it, as he entered the league in 2018. He was a third-round pick by the Dolphins in that year’s draft.

There are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about the Dolphins’ chances of ending their playoff drought in the upcoming season.

For one, Miami has a new head coach in Mike McDaniel. The hope is that the former San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator will improve the team’s offense and bring out the best in young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Additionally, the Dolphins have brought in lots of talented players, including Tyreek Hill, who they acquired from the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the offseason and many regard as one of the best wide receivers in the league.
