Report: Miami Dolphins acquire Tyreek Hill from Kansas City Chiefs in blockbuster trade
- Updated: March 23, 2022
The Miami Dolphins have made what is perhaps the biggest splash of this offseason by trading for superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Dolphins were already having a fairly exciting offseason, but this move obviously puts it over the top.
To get the trade done, the Dolphins had to part ways with a decent number of draft picks.
Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources tell ESPN.

With the deal done, the Dolphins’ new coaching staff now gets to think of ways to capitalize on the incredible speed the team now has at wide receiver. With Hill and youngster Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins might have the fastest receiver room in the league.
Last season, Hill recorded 111 receptions for 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns. He’ll look to record similar numbers in Miami.
