Ryan Fitzpatrick clowns Gardner Minshew ahead of Thursday night showdown
- Updated: September 22, 2020
Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick clowned Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew ahead of their Thursday night showdown.
Fitzpatrick, who is known for his extremely large beard, made fun of Minshew’s signature mustache.
Fitz just dunked on Minshew Mania: “The mustaches versus the beard…I think the beard is cooler. Guys that grow mustaches have patchy sides.” pic.twitter.com/b2iLbuGJb9

This will be quite the quarterback battle not only on the field, but in the facial hair department as well.
The Dolphins and the Jags both come into the matchup coming off of losses. Miami is 0-2 after dropping its Week 2 game to the Buffalo Bills.
Jacksonville upset the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1, but it was unable to hold off the Tennessee Titans in Week 2, losing 33-30.
While neither team is expected to be a Super Bowl contender this season, the matchup should make for an intriguing game Thursday.
Thanks to Fitzpatrick’s jab, he and Minshew now have a little friendly rivalry going off the field.
