Jevon Holland says he wants to be with the Miami Dolphins for his ‘entire life’

For any Miami Dolphins fans hoping to see Jevon Holland with the team for a long time, the youngster recently made a thrilling statement.

Holland explained that he wants to be with the Dolphins for his “entire life” and appeared to call Miami “paradise.”

“I want to be a Dolphin for my entire life,” Holland said on a recent podcast appearance. “Really, I love it down here. It’s paradise. I want to be a Dolphin for my whole life, man.”

Even with the Dolphins organization going through a rocky period right now, Holland still seems to love the situation he’s in, and that’s a great sign. Whenever a team parts ways with a head coach, it can cause some players to become unhappy, but that doesn’t appear to be the case with Holland.

The 2021 regular season was Holland’s first at the NFL level. He put together an impressive rookie campaign, totaling 10 passes defended and two interceptions. He also recorded three fumble recoveries and 69 total tackles while becoming one of the team’s most important players.

The Dolphins certainly seem to like what they have in the 21-year-old, which has been clear from the moment they decided to use a second-round pick to select him in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The hope is that there are better days ahead for Miami. The team has put together two straight winning seasons but hasn’t been able to reach the playoffs since the 2016 campaign.

With the Brian Flores era now over for the organization, the Dolphins are looking to hire a new head coach that will take the team to the next level. It remains to be seen who Miami will hire, but it’s definitely a pivotal decision as it pertains to the future of the franchise.
