Late in the Miami Dolphins’ Saturday night game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick managed to complete a pass effectively blindfolded after being on the receiving end of a face mask.
Fitzpatrick was in the midst of leading the Dolphins to what turned out to be a game-winning field goal in their 26-25 victory over the Raiders.
While the penalty may have been momentarily painful for Fitzpatrick, it garnered a huge chunk of yardage to help make the field goal happen.
The pass completion to Dolphins wide receiver Mack Hollins accounted for 34 yards, with the subsequent face mask accounting for 15 more yards.
After an incompletion, Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders kicked a 44-yard field goal in the closing seconds for the game-winner.
