After being carted off the practice field Tuesday with an apparent leg injury, it has now been revealed that Miami Dolphins linebacker Vince Biegel has suffered a torn left Achilles and is expected to miss the 2020 season, according to Josh Tolentino of The Athletic.

Last season, Biegel had the most productive season of his career, recording 59 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and one interception.

He was expected to challenge for a starting linebacker position this season.

With Biegel now out for the season, players like Elandon Roberts, Kamu-Grugier Hill, Sam Eguavoen and Andrew Van Ginkel will have a chance to earn lots of playing time for the upcoming season.
