Report: Miami Dolphins Linebacker Carted Off Practice Field With Devastating Injury
- Updated: August 18, 2020

On Tuesday, Miami Dolphins linebacker Vince Biegel was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury.
“Miami Dolphins linebacker Vince Biegel was carted off the field after suffering a right knee/leg injury during Tuesday’s practice,” ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe reported.
“Biegel was very emotional after the injury, remaining down for a couple of minutes while teammate Kyle Van Noy and coach Brian Flores spoke to him.
“The severity of Biegel’s injury is unclear, but teammates prayed around him and he didn’t appear able to put much weight on his leg without assistance from trainers.”
Last season, Biegel recorded 59 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and one interception.
Biegel was expected to compete for the team’s starting linebacker job this season. Now, the Dolphins will have to wait and see what further testing reveals about this unfortunate injury.
Hopefully, Biegel is able to come back better and stronger in a relatively short amount of time.
