Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa took the field with his teammates on Monday.
Tagovailoa, the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, is expected to be the future in Miami at the quarterback position.
The University of Alabama product recently passed his physical and was cleared to practice without limitations as the team heads into training camp for the upcoming season.
While Dolphins head coach Brian Flores has yet to commit to Tagovailoa as the starter, the rookie is expected to compete with veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick and third-year man Josh Rosen for the job.
The 22-year-old had quite the career at Alabama, throwing for 7,442 yards and 87 touchdowns in 32 career games.
In addition to that, Tagovailoa led the Crimson Tide to a national championship.
The Dolphins clearly believe in Tagovailoa and hope that he can deliver the same success to them in 2020 and beyond.
