Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa proved that he was a good son when he purchased a brand new truck for his mother, Diane, on Mother’s Day.
The University of Alabama product took to Instagram on Sunday evening to show off his mother’s new wheels.
“I know you wanted something to be able to carry everyone,” the younger Tagovailoa said right before handing his mother the keys to the new Cadillac. “This is yours.”
It’s nothing new for rookie sports stars to purchase their parents new cars, and it looks like the younger Tagovailoa was more than happy to carry on the tradition.
Surely, Mother’s Day would have been special for the elder Tagovailoa with or without this incredible gift. With that being said, there is also little doubt that she is very happy about her new ride.
Throughout his time at the University of Alabama, the rookie quarterback always made it clear that his family came first. He always wanted to make them proud of the incredible heights he reached at the collegiate level.
Now, he’ll get to make his family proud by succeeding in the NFL.
Surely, there would be no greater gift that he could give his mother and father than someday becoming a Super Bowl champ.
