Five Keys to Success in Order for Miami Dolphins to Beat Los Angeles Chargers

2. Cutler Silences the Critics

Cutler is set to make his Dolphins debut at quarterback under head coach Adam Gase‘s offense against the Chargers defense, a team he last played in 2015 when he was a member of the Chicago Bears.

There has been plenty of trash talk directed at Cutler recently, including from Chargers star outside linebacker Melvin Ingram. Earlier this week, Ingram took a shot at the quarterback when asked about the potential problems Cutler presented to the Chargers’ defense.

Cutler needs to filter out all the outside noise, come into StubHub Center on Sunday, and put up strong numbers by using his weapons in wide receivers Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills and Jakeem Grant.

“We’re going to practice as hard as we can. We’re going to prepare as much as we can,” Cutler said earlier this week. “But like any game, like any NFL season, there’s going to be some ups and downs out there and these guys. It’s a resilient group, so we’ll just battle through them.”
