Tyreek Hill’s agent appears to send mixed signals on whether WR still wants to be with Dolphins

Star wide receiver Tyreek Hill just recently wrapped up what was probably his least productive season with the Miami Dolphins both from individual and collective standpoints.

Individually, Hill mustered 959 receiving yards after he totaled 1,700-plus in that category in each of his first two seasons in Miami. He even led the NFL in receiving yards during the 2023 campaign, when he accumulated 1,799 across 16 starts.

What’s more is that the 30-year-old finished the 2024 campaign tied for a career-low in receiving touchdowns with six. He totaled that same number of receiving touchdowns in his maiden season in the NFL, which came with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016.

Then, collectively, the Dolphins finished the 2024 season with more losses than wins for the first time since Miami acquired Hill from the Chiefs in 2022. Hill’s agent recently offered some mixed signals about where Hill’s head is at following the rocky season.

Hill certainly wasn’t at the top of his game when the Dolphins took on the New York Jets to wrap up the season on Jan. 5. In fact, he had one of his worst offensive performances of the season and appeared to remove himself from the game once Miami’s playoff hopes were essentially toast.

He accumulated just 20 receiving yards. The last time Hill finished with less than that number in a single game came all the way back on Nov. 11, when Miami beat the Los Angeles Rams. He at least managed to pull in a touchdown catch in that one.

While missing the playoffs this season was certainly disappointing for Hill, it’s not as if he saw a lot of playoff success in his first two seasons with the team either. Hill has yet to win a playoff game as a Dolphin, and Miami’s last playoff win as a franchise came more than two decades ago.

Now that Hill’s agent has sent mixed signals about whether the veteran still wants to be with the Dolphins, it would be reasonable for fans of the team to feel a little on edge at the moment.
