Tyreek Hill assures Miami Dolphins fans he ‘ain’t going nowhere’

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill has made some headlines this season for his social media activity, with the wide receiver sparking speculation about his NFL future on more than one occasion.

But according to Hill, he “ain’t going nowhere.”

Hill’s third season with the Dolphins has been tumultuous so far. With quarterback Tua Tagovailoa recovering from a concussion, Hill hasn’t always looked like himself, and the Dolphins have struggled in the process.

But the team was able to get back on track in Week 5 with a critical win over the New England Patriots, and Hill certainly made an impact. While he didn’t have one of his signature games, he did catch six passes for 69 yards to help the Dolphins earn a 15-10 win. They’re now 2-3 on the season.

Tagovailoa hasn’t played since Week 2. The Dolphins, coming off their bye, will remain without the quarterback in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts, but they could get him back in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.

When the passer does return, Hill will likely be as happy as anyone. His numbers this season — 286 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown through five games — pale in comparison to his numbers from his first two seasons with the Dolphins.

If the Dolphins were to win in Week 7 and be 3-3 with Tagovailoa potentially returning in Week 8, they’d have to feel good about themselves after being in a 1-3 hole at one point. But they aren’t out of the woods yet, and a big performance from Hill against the Colts would certainly go a long way.

Looking at the big picture, the receiver is under contract with the Dolphins through the 2026 season, so barring something unexpected, he’s going to be a key piece for the organization for the foreseeable future. His trolling on social media shouldn’t be taken seriously, according to the man himself.

If he wants to go elsewhere when his contract with the Dolphins expires, that could be a realistic scenario, but that isn’t something that fans in South Florida need to worry about today.
