Tyreek Hill dares Kansas City Chiefs to use his words as ‘bulletin board material’ as he speaks on Week 9 game

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is arguably the center of attention heading into his team’s Week 9 battle against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The matchup, which is taking place in Germany, will be Hill’s first game against the Chiefs, his former team.

On Thursday, the veteran spoke about the matchup. He said that he’s treating this week the same as any other.

“Just another opportunity for me to play the game that I love,” Hill said. “Obviously, it’ll be against Kansas City Chiefs, but I’ma treat this week just like it’s any other week.”

He put himself on the map during his stint with the Chiefs, earning six Pro Bowl nods and one Super Bowl ring with the organization.

Hill also sent a message to the Chiefs and dared them to use his words as “bulletin board material.”

“They gon’ get this work wherever,” Hill said of facing the Chiefs in Germany instead of Kansas City. “Y’all can use that.”

Over six seasons with Kansas City, he averaged over 1,100 yards per year, making him one of the most productive wide receivers in the NFL.

He hasn’t missed a beat since joining the Dolphins. Last season, Hill accumulated 1,710 receiving yards, and this season, he has a whopping 1,014 receiving yards in eight games. He leads the league in that category and also has a league-best eight receiving touchdowns.

The Dolphins have struggled against elite competition this season, but they’ll get a chance to put that trend to rest in Week 9. A win over the Chiefs would move Miami to 7-2 on the season and give the squad some serious momentum heading into its bye week.

But Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and company may have something to say about that. The Chiefs are 6-2 themselves and remain major threats to win the AFC this season.

Meanwhile, the matchup also has MVP implications. Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa are among the betting favorites to win the award, and Hill is also in the mix. The Dolphins and Chiefs won’t play again in the regular season, so MVP voters will certainly be keeping a close eye on the matchup.

Hill has found the end zone in four straight games (and seven of eight games this season) and would surely love nothing more than to keep the ball rolling against his former team.
