Tyreek Hill gives Tua Tagovailoa ultimate compliment ahead of 2023 Miami Dolphins season

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill seems to be one of Tua Tagovailoa’s biggest fans. He’s constantly propped him up over the past year, and he was back at it on Saturday.

A little less than a year ago, Hill said that Tagovailoa was a more accurate passer than Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is arguably the best signal-caller in the entire league. That take seemingly angered lots of people.

Throughout his career, Tagovailoa has completed 65.7 percent of his passes for 8,015 yards, 52 touchdowns and just 23 interceptions. He’s always been known to be a very accurate passer. One issue plenty of fans have with him relates to a perceived lack of arm strength.

However, that didn’t stop him from leading the NFL in yards gained per pass attempt and yards gained per pass completion during a 2022 season in which he completed 64.8 percent of his passes for 3,548 yards and 25 touchdowns.

The University of Alabama product broke out in a big way last season, though two confirmed concussions derailed his campaign. The second concussion forced him to miss multiple games, including Miami’s lone playoff contest against the Buffalo Bills.

Had Tagovailoa been healthy for the entire season, perhaps the Dolphins would’ve been able to make a deep playoff run.

Hill, Tagovailoa and the rest of the Dolphins roster have surely already put that behind them and are anxiously awaiting the upcoming 2023 regular season. Hill and Tagovailoa were recently seen putting in some work together.

With big additions all across the roster, expectations in South Florida continue to rise. The Chiefs are one of the teams Miami will look to take down this season.

During the 2022 campaign, Kansas City won its second Super Bowl in four seasons with Mahomes once again leading the way. Mahomes and the Chiefs are scheduled to host Tagovailoa and the Dolphins sometime during the 2023 regular season.

Hill recently said that he’s going to be Kansas City’s “worst enemy” during that matchup. Chiefs star defensive lineman Chris Jones clapped back at that claim, intensifying what is already sure to be an electric matchup.

Dolphins fans surely can’t wait to see their team get back out on the field in the coming months. Perhaps the regular season game between the Chiefs and Dolphins will be an exciting playoff preview.
