Chris Jones claps back at Tyreek Hill saying he’ll be K.C.’s ‘worst enemy’ during Chiefs-Dolphins game

Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones responded to Tyreek Hill’s recent comments about the Miami Dolphins’ matchup with Kansas City in the 2023 season.

The two teams didn’t get to play in the 2022 season, Hill’s first with Miami, but they are scheduled to face off in the upcoming season. Hill claimed that he will be Kansas City’s “worst enemy” when the teams eventually face off.

“When the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gon’ do?” Hill said. “… I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all. I hate to do it. But guess what? I’ma be y’all worst enemy that day. … You better change the signals. I know every signal y’all got.”

Jones responded to his former teammate’s comments on Twitter, seemingly showing supreme confidence that the Chiefs will beat the Dolphins when they play.

Hill has certainly added some fuel to the fire with his comments, and it appears that both sides are looking forward to this matchup. Jones and Hill likely won’t ever match up on the field, as Jones is a defensive lineman and Hill plays wide receiver.

However, they may end up continuing the trash talk once the teams get on the field in the 2023 campaign.

Last season, Hill thrived with the Dolphins in Mike McDaniel’s offense.

The seven-time Pro Bowler finished the 2022 season with 119 catches for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. He also averaged over 100 receiving yards per game even though the team had to play three different quarterbacks (Tua Tagovailoa, Teddy Bridgewater and Skylar Thompson).

The Chiefs traded Hill to Miami last offseason after the two sides couldn’t come to terms on a long-term contract extension.

Kansas City showed that it still has the tools to win without Hill, defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl this past season. Jones was a big part of Kansas City’s success, putting together one of the best seasons of his career.

The former second-round pick matched a career-high with 15.5 sacks, and he finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting.

The Dolphins and their fans are hoping that Hill can back up his trash talk and have a great game when the two teams face off this season.
