The Miami Dolphins are running things back with Raheem Mostert.

According to a report, the team has inked the veteran to a two-year deal.

Mostert was an important piece for the Dolphins in the 2022 campaign.

He appeared in 16 games in the regular season, totaling 891 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. The 30-year-old averaged 4.9 yards per carry along the way.

Mostert also made an impact through the air, catching 31 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns. All things considered, it was one of the best seasons of his NFL career.

The Purdue University product figures to be a key piece for the Dolphins moving forward as they look to build off of their productive 2022 season.

It has already been a busy offseason for Miami. The team has made a handful of key additions and seems to be wasting no time when it comes to filling in the gaps on the roster.

There is still work to be done, but Dolphins fans have to be happy with how aggressive the team has been so far. Miami is becoming one of the biggest forces in the NFL when it comes to adding talent.

After making the playoffs this past season, the Dolphins are heading in the right direction. The next step for the team is to win a playoff game, which is something Miami hasn’t accomplished in over two decades.

With the roster coming together and a good coaching staff in place, the Dolphins are in great shape to end that streak.

Mostert has been around the block in the NFL, but he’s still looking for his first Super Bowl title, which is the case for many other players on Miami’s roster. That’s likely all the motivation they need to get the job done in the foreseeable future.

The 2023 offseason is still relatively young, so fans will surely continue to keep an eye on any other moves the Dolphins make. It doesn’t seem like the team is content with its roster just yet, so the coming days and weeks could be busy ones for Miami.
