Tyreek Hill’s immediate reaction to Tom Brady’s retirement announcement

On Wednesday morning, legendary quarterback Tom Brady announced his retirement from the game of football.

Plenty of fans and NFL players have paid their respects to the 45-year-old, and Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill took some time out of his day to salute Brady.

Plenty of fans will surely recall the fact that Brady retired last year before changing his mind and suiting up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2022 campaign.

Brady wound up helping lead the Bucs to the playoffs by completing 66.8 percent of his passes for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions, but it seemed like he might’ve made a mistake by coming back for one more season.

The University of Michigan product appeared to miss open teammates a lot more than usual during the 2022 regular season, and it also seemed as though he wasn’t always on the same page as Bucs receivers like Mike Evans.

Tampa Bay still made it to the playoffs by coming out on top in a very mediocre NFC South division, but it got ran over by the Dallas Cowboys in their wild-card game.

The No. 199 overall pick from the 2000 NFL Draft finishes his career with 15 Pro Bowl selections, seven Super Bowls, three league MVP awards and plenty of other incredible accolades.

It might be a while before another quarterback has as successful a career as Brady had.

Dolphins fans got a close look at many of those accomplishments, as Brady played most of his career with the New England Patriots. In 36 career games against the Dolphins, Brady threw for 8,596 yards and 72 touchdowns.

Hill recently wrapped up his first season with the Dolphins, and he had a career year in the process. The 28-year-old caught 119 passes for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. He constantly provided huge plays on offense and even scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The former fifth-round pick figures to be a big part of the Dolphins offense once again in the 2023 season. After making it to the playoffs this season, Hill and the Dolphins are surely hoping that they can improve upon that in the 2023 campaign.
