Report: Trill Williams suffered torn ACL in Saturday’s preseason game

The Miami Dolphins’ preseason is off to a bad start, as cornerback Trill Williams has been diagnosed with a torn ACL.

The 22-year-old suffered the injury during Miami’s preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday. He was carted off the field late in the fourth quarter of the match.

Williams appeared in just one game in the 2021 season, but in recent months, he appeared to have improved his defensive game and was looking to make an impact this season. Unfortunately, it seems this setback will cause him to miss a significant amount of time.

He now has a long road ahead of him, but with any luck, he’ll bounce back in a major way.
