On Tuesday, the Miami Dolphins were seriously punished by the NFL for committing tampering violations.
As part of the tampering, Miami tried to lure superstar Tom Brady to South Florida.
Though it would be understandable if Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa were disturbed by the matter, it seems like the young passer hasn’t been phased by the story.
Dolphins fans know quite well that there have been multiple occasions in which the organization has seemed less than committed to Tagovailoa. For much of the 2021 season, the Dolphins were rumored to have a lot of interest in quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Even more recently, the Dolphins acquired quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater has started for much of his career, and some fans think he may be something of an insurance policy in case things with Tagovailoa don’t work out this season.
To that point, however, Tagovailoa seems to be turning doubters into believers so far in his team’s training camp. He’s been making plays all over the field and seems to be more composed and comfortable than he’s ever been at the pro level.
Hopefully, that is a sign of a lot of great things to come. The Dolphins are hoping to make the playoffs in the 2022 season for the first time since the 2016 campaign, and Tagovailoa’s play is going to have a lot to do with whether or not the team gets there.
