With each passing day of the summer, the NFL gets closer and closer to training camps, preseason games and other exciting events that the preseason has to offer.
For the Miami Dolphins, they’ll surely look to get the 2022 season off on the right foot. They have many new players who are projected to play large roles with the team this season.
One new player is linebacker Channing Tindall. Tindall was selected by the Dolphins with the No. 102 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Without a doubt, the young linebacker out of the University of Georgia has a lot to prove.
Dolphins rookies are set to report to training camp on July 19. Based on a recent message Tindall offered, he seems ready for what’s ahead.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker spent four seasons at Georgia. It wasn’t until his senior year, however, that he got an opportunity to play in a full slate of games.
In 15 games in the 2021 season, Tindall recorded 67 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He also recorded a forced fumble. It was an impressive season for him, especially considering the fact that he was facing off against some of the most dangerous offenses in all of college football.
Now, Tindall will look to contribute to a defensive unit that has been pretty solid in recent seasons. Miami has loads of talent up and down its roster on the defensive side of the ball, so Tindall will have to prove that he belongs in his rookie year.
