Brian Flores’ amended complaint states Dolphins want him to repay hundreds of thousands of dollars

According to former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores, the Dolphins organization wants him to repay a large amount of money.

It’s one of the latest developments in Flores’ racial discrimination lawsuit against the NFL and its teams.

It’s certainly a very notable twist in the matter. Flores filed his lawsuit on Feb. 1, which was the first day of Black History Month. Of course, the 41-year-old was fired by the Dolphins in January after Miami finished the 2021 season with a 9-8 record.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see where the lawsuit goes from here, as there will surely be more notable developments in the near future.

Flores will spend the upcoming season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as he landed an assistant coaching position with them a few weeks after he filed the lawsuit.

Without a doubt, one of his top goals is to become a head coach in the NFL again, and he’s certainly qualified to do so. Time will tell if he ends up landing another head coaching gig at some point down the line.

As for the Dolphins, they’re heading into the 2022 season with a new head coach in Mike McDaniel. Miami is hoping to crack the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 campaign.

Flores led the Dolphins to two straight winning seasons before being fired. The Dolphins are now looking to take the next step by advancing to the postseason. Of course, the ultimate goal is to win a Super Bowl, something Miami hasn’t done since the 1973 season.
