Report: Brian Flores lands assistant coaching position with Pittsburgh Steelers

1 Min Read

Former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores has found a new job. He will join the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive staff.

Flores was fired by the Dolphins after three seasons with the team. The decision came after the Dolphins ended the 2021 regular season with a 9-8 record.

Following a 1-7 start, the Dolphins bounced back to win eight of their final nine games in the 2021 campaign. They narrowly missed out on a playoff berth.

In the wake of his dismissal, Flores filed a racial discrimination lawsuit. As part of the lawsuit, Flores claimed that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross had previously been willing to pay him to lose games in order to help the Dolphins’ draft position.

Flores will now be joining the staff of Mike Tomlin.
