The Miami Dolphins are fighting for a playoff spot in their Monday Night Football matchup against the pesky New Orleans Saints.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa helped Miami’s cause by throwing a beautiful 40-yard pass to wide receiver Mack Hollins in the third quarter.

The Dolphins are 7-7 and are in the hunt, along with a few other teams, for a wild card spot in the AFC.

After a slow start to the season, Tagovailoa has been playing rather well of late, as the team is riding the crest of a six-game winning streak.

Shortly after Tagovailoa’s pass to Hollins, the Dolphins took a 17-3 lead over New Orleans as wideout Jaylen Waddle scored a touchdown from short range.

After tonight, the Dolphins will close the regular season with contests against the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots.
