The NFL has been ravaged by COVID-19 in recent weeks.

In fact, the league has had to postpone a handful of games due to ramifications from the contagious various. The Dolphins have lost numerous players to the COVID-19 list.

The team competed on Sunday without several key players. Nonetheless, they beat the New York Jets by a score of 31-24.

The Dolphins are fighting to make the playoffs and have shown impressive resilience after a lowly start to the season. As a matter of fact, they’re on an amazing six-game winning streak.

Now, they’ll get back two important pieces as they scramble into the last leg of the regular season. The team holds a 7-7 record.

Waddle, 23, was the No. 6 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The franchise signed him to a four-year deal after picking him up.

Of course, the University of Alabama product has chemistry with Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. He was ecstatic about reuniting with Tagovailoa heading into the season.

The 23-year-old Tagovailoa praised Waddle for his enhanced communication since their college days earlier this season.

Lindsay, 27, was recently picked up by the Dolphins after getting waived by the Houston Texans. The running back’s debut with the Dolphins showcased his potential to aid the team. During his Week 12 debut, he got 12 carries and rushed for 42 yards.

The Dolphins take on the New Orleans Saints next Monday. The Saints hold a 7-7 record as well.
