Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a humorous response to bulldozing New York Jets cornerback Michael Carter on Sunday.

The Dolphins defeated the Jets 31-24 on Sunday. Tagovailoa finished with 196 passing yards, two touchdown passes and two interceptions. He added 19 rushing yards on Sunday.

After trailing 10-0 coming out of the first quarter, the Dolphins were able to climb back. Tagovailoa connected with DeVante Parker in the fourth quarter to put Miami in front on the way to a win.

Tagovailoa is up to 2,141 passing yards this season, with 14 touchdowns thrown and eight interceptions. The Dolphins quarterback missed four games earlier this season, but has helped the team continue their winning streak since returning to the field.

The Dolphins win pushes their record to 7-7. After a rough start to the year, Miami has won six games in a row.

The Dolphins will travel to face the New Orleans Saints next Monday night. Miami will close the season with matchups against the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots.

Miami isn’t out of the playoff hunt yet, but will need to pick up some wins in the coming weeks to help their odds of securing a postseason berth. The Patriots (9-5) and Buffalo Bills (8-6) are both contending for a top seed in the AFC.
