Report: Houston Texans get huge boost at quarterback heading into game vs. Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins are set to host the Houston Texans on Sunday in a battle of two teams that have managed to win just one game each so far this season.

Both squads are looking to get a victory and get things moving in the right direction.

The Texans are reportedly going to get a big boost for the matchup, as quarterback Tyrod Taylor is expected to be good to go. He hasn’t seen game action since Week 2 due to injury.

Before going on the shelf this season, Taylor looked impressive. In two games, he completed 70.5 percent of his passes for 416 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He led the Texans to a 1-1 record in those games.

At this stage in the season for Houston, it’s probably too late for the team to claw back into the playoff picture, but having Taylor back should give the Texans a chance to get some victories before the campaign ends.

It’ll be interesting to see how the veteran performs in his first game back.

Miami will hope to spoil Taylor’s return. The Dolphins’ season has not gone as hoped, but there’s still a chance for the team to rack up some wins.

From here on out, arguably the biggest story for Miami will be the play of Tua Tagovailoa. The youngster is hoping to prove his worth to the organization.

If Tagovailoa struggles throughout the remainder of the campaign, it seems like there’s a chance fans could see a different player at the helm of the offense next season.

The Dolphins are 1-4 in games started by Tagovailoa this season. He’s looking to make it 2-4.
