In his first game back from a rib injury that sidelined him for several weeks, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa successfully threw a touchdown pass with 7:45 left in the first quarter.
Fans have certainly been waiting for the return of the young Dolphins cornerstone, and he has been stellar so far.
Miami has lost its past four games as Tagovailoa was recovering from fractured ribs he sustained in Week 2. The team would certainly love to get back on a winning track to keep its playoff hopes alive.
A lot of that will likely hinge on the 23-year-old. Even though he had a lackluster rookie season last year, he has the chance to prove doubters wrong in his sophomore campaign.
Unfortunately, the Dolphins still have several hurdles to overcome. They are currently missing key players Xavien Howard and DeVante Parker.
But by getting its starting quarterback on the field again, the team can hopefully improve its play on the offensive end.
