The Miami Dolphins acquired Greg Mancz late in August, and the offensive lineman recently offered an insight into what his time with the team’s other offensive lineman has been like.
“The first thing that I noticed is how much fun they have at practice,” Mancz said. “They are young, excited and full of energy. I came from a team with a lot of older vets. They are just excited. It’s just a different vibe. I’m excited to figure out how I fit, where I fit and how I can help.”
Miami has an inexperienced set of offensive linemen. But that does not seem to be a problem for Mancz, as he is looking forward to helping the young group.
At 29 years old, Mancz has already played six seasons in the league. He entered the NFL in 2015 as an undrafted free agent. The Houston Texans took a chance on him, and in his sophomore campaign, he started all 16 games for the team at center.
The Dolphins are hoping that trading for the University of Toledo product can help improve an offensive line that was one of the worst in the league last season. They are looking to get back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season.
