The Miami Dolphins placed linebacker Kylan Johnson on the COVID-19 list.
Johnson, who went undrafted in the 2020 NFL Draft, spent last season on the Dolphins’ practice squad.
The 24-year-old is likely fighting for a roster spot on this year’s team, but he will have a harder time if he misses significant time due to COVID-19.
Johnson, who played college football at the University of Florida and University of Pittsburgh, totaled 132 tackles and eight sacks over his four seasons.
On the Dolphins’ current depth chart, Johnson is listed as a fourth-string linebacker.
Miami, who went 10-6 last season behind a strong defense, is looking to improve on last year’s campaign and make the playoffs in 2021.
