Former Miami Dolphins linebacker Kyle Van Noy had a rather interesting response when asked a question about Dolphins head coach Brian Flores.
Van Noy, who signed with the New England Patriots after he was released by the Dolphins this offseason, played for Flores in New England as well.
The only difference was that in New England, Flores was the linebackers coach. Flores was Van Noy’s head coach in Miami.
Van Noy did not want to discuss the differences between those two experiences at all.
Van Noy had some of his best years of his career in New England, and he will likely relish the fact that he will face Flores and the Dolphins two times this coming season.
Last season, Van Noy totaled six sacks and 69 tackles for Miami in 14 games.
The Dolphins went 10-6 last season and finished in second place in the AFC East. Van Noy will try to help the Patriots, who went just 7-9 last season, get back to dominating the division.
