Report: Miami Dolphins announce Kyle Van Noy’s status for game vs. New York Jets
- Updated: October 18, 2020
The Miami Dolphins have a chance to get back to .500 on the 2020 NFL season on Sunday as they take on the winless New York Jets.
Their task in achieving that goal will be a bit harder than previously expected because they’ll be without starting linebacker Kyle Van Noy.

Van Noy has been dealing with a number of injuries in his first season in Miami. Despite the nagging injuries, Sunday’s game will mark the first contest that he’s actually had to miss.
So far this season, Van Noy has recorded 19 total tackles and two sacks. He’s also recorded two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
While the loss will surely impact a Dolphins defense that put up its best performance of the season last week, the Jets are a good team to be shorthanded against.
So far, the Jets are averaging a measly 15.0 points per game. The Dolphins are averaging 27.2 points per game so far this season.
Hopefully, the Dolphins are able to get the win today while Van Noy enjoys a lengthy time to get back to 100 percent health.
The Dolphins will be off next weekend with a bye week.
