On Thursday, Miami Dolphins star running back Jay Ajayi was a surprise addition to the team’s injury report with a knee injury.
Thankfully, Ajayi was able to be a full participant in Thursday’s practice ahead of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers at StubHub Center.
“I don’t really see him as being hurt,” Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said before Thursday’s practice. “He just is a little sore.”
According to Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel, coach Gase said that the knee issue is something Ajayi has been dealing with for quite some time.
Also on the injury report was three-time Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey with a hip injury and defensive back Walt Aikens with a back issue, but both of them were also able to participate in practice on Thursday.
