After the Miami Dolphins made a handful of player cuts on Friday to their roster, the team continued to make moves on Saturday before the 4 p.m. ET deadline.

According to the Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins opened up cuts on Saturday morning when they released long snapper Winston Chapman.
Miami made a surprise cut on Saturday morning when they released former CFL All-Star linebacker Deon Lacey, according to the Palm Beach Post’s Jason Lieser.
Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald also reported that the Dolphins released former University of Miami linebacker Sean Spence, defensive lineman Praise Martin-Oguike, offensive lineman Sean Hickey and wide receiver Drew Morgan.
Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald also reported that the Dolphins released quarterback Brad Doughty and defensive back Jordan Lucas.
It was also announced that defensive back Lafayette Pitts was one of the Dolphins roster cuts, per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.
According to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, the Dolphins also waived linebacker Neville Hewitt on Saturday afternoon.
