For the Miami Dolphins, the team has until 4 p.m. ET on Saturday to cut their roster down to the mandatory 53-man limit for their 2017-18 NFL regular season opener on Sept. 10 when they host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Punter Matt Darr’s agent Brett Tessler reported on Twitter that his client was released from the Dolphins, who lost the punting job to undrafted rookie free agent Matt Haack of Arizona State University.

According to Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, Dolphins defensive lineman Julius Warmsley and offensive linemen Avery Young were both released by the team.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Miami decided to release linebacker Junior Sylvestre after he was signed to the roster earlier this month.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins cut both defensive lineman and Lawrence Okoye and wide receiver Rashad Lawrence.
