Tyreek Hill says Chiefs coach is ‘f—–g animal’ after shot at Trump: ‘Love it’

There’s a relatively new rule in the NFL known as the “dynamic kickoff” that alters the presentation of kickoffs but has been shown to make the game safer. President Donald Trump is not a fan of the alteration.

This week, Kansas City Chiefs special teams coordinator Dave Toub responded to Trump’s opinion and torched the 47th president of the United States. He insulted the Republican’s football intelligence and said the 79-year-old “doesn’t even know what he’s looking at.”

Former Chiefs star and current Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill got a kick out of Toub’s comments, as he called the coach a “f—— animal” on X after his shot at Trump.

For the entirety of Hill’s six-season stint in Kansas City, Toub was part of head coach Andy Reid’s coaching staff with the Chiefs. He was officially a special teams coordinator at the start of Hill’s pro career but later worked his way up to an assistant head coach/special teams coordinator role. Toub is still in that role with the Chiefs today.

Toub is also far from the only public figure to criticize Trump since the beginning of his second term as president, as he’s an incredibly polarizing figure in America and around the world.

He’s faced controversy lately, for example, for some comments he made on Truth Social toward a group of Democratic lawmakers who urged members of the military to “refuse illegal orders.” He accused the lawmakers of committing “seditious behavior” and claimed it’s “punishable by death.”

Hill is far removed from his Chiefs stint, as he last played for the squad in the 2021 season, and it’s unclear when exactly he will even be able to take an NFL field again, if ever. He suffered a season-ending knee injury with the Dolphins earlier in the 2025 campaign, and his status to begin the 2026 campaign is up in the air due to the severity of the injury.

Hill is an eight-time Pro Bowler, five-time All-Pro and one-time Super Bowl champion.
