The Miami Dolphins pulled off a massive upset in Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season, knocking off the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo is now 6-3 in the 2025 season, which isn’t a bad place to be, but it was expected to beat a Miami team that entered Week 10 with just two wins and traded away pass rusher Jaelan Phillips ahead of the trade deadline.
After the win, a picture was shared of Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel appearing to drive by a bar where Bills fans go in Miami. McDaniel allegedly was there to โtrollโ Bills fans.

The Dolphins head coach addressed the situation on Monday and spoke on whether or not it was real.

โThe good ole days…you could trust the internet and the images โ ’cause it is pretty detailed that I do live in that area โ but I mean, AI, right?โ McDaniel said.
He was then asked to confirm or deny that he was trolling fans outside of the bar. He remained vague as he seemingly had some fun with the media room.
โI live in that area,โ McDaniel said. โAI is real. Thatโs what I got for ya.โ
McDaniel has been Miamiโs head coach since the 2022 season, and he actually beat Buffalo in his first game against them back on Sept. 25, 2022.
Since then, the Dolphins have struggled against the Bills, losing seven straight games against them (postseason included) before winning on Sunday. Miami lost to Buffalo in the playoffs in the 2022 season, and the Bills swept the Dolphins in the 2023 and 2024 regular seasons.
In fact, the Bills beat the Dolphins in the final week of the 2023 campaign to keep Miami from winning the AFC East. McDaniel and his team then had to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs and were promptly eliminated from contention in a blowout.
So, thereโs no doubt that the win in Week 10 of the 2025 season had to feel good for Miamiโs head coach.
Still, the Dolphins are just 3-7 so far this season and on the outside of the playoff picture in the AFC. McDaniel is hoping to turn Miami’s season around, as that would likely help him keep his job as the teamโs leader from the sidelines. The Dolphins have already moved on from general manager Chris Grier during their tumultuous 2025 campaign.
