Report: Miami Dolphins expected to show interest in star receiver T.Y. Hilton

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly interested in wide receiver T.Y. Hilton.

Last season Hilton proved he could still produce at a high level, catching 56 passes for 762 yards and five touchdowns.

While also helping out on the field, Hilton would be able to be a mentor for the Dolphins’ younger receivers like Preston Williams and Lynn Bowden Jr.

The four-time Pro Bowler is coming off a five-year, $65 million deal.

The 31-year-old attended Miami Springs Senior for high school before playing for Florida International University in college.

Given that Miami is Hilton’s hometown, the Dolphins could have an advantage over others teams interested in him when it comes time for Hilton to make a decision.

Hilton has spent his entire career with the Indianapolis Colts after being selected by them in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
