The Miami Dolphins provided updates on the statuses of a number of their players with a few days separating the team from its next game against the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 11.
For one, head coach Mike McDaniel said that safety Jevon Holland and cornerback Kader Kohou are operating with the goal of playing against the Rams.
Kohou hasn’t played for the Dolphins since the team lost to the Indianapolis Colts on Oct. 20. As for Holland, he missed Miami’s most recent bout against the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 3.
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Jevon Holland and Kader Kohou are trying to play this week.
Holland won't practice Thursday, Kohou will do some things.

Additionally, linebacker Bradley Chubb โ who has yet to make his season debut with the Dolphins after he suffered a torn ACL against the Baltimore Ravens a season ago โ won’t return to practice this week.
It won't be this week for a Bradley Chubb return to practice.
Isaiah Wynn and Cameron Goode are "getting closer," per McDaniel.

But on the bright side, the Dolphins have designated rookie safety Patrick McMorris to return after he was placed on injured reserve not long before the start of the campaign.
Rookie safety Patrick McMorris is designated for return and will open his practice window today. https://t.co/qvMTslzLcV

McMorris marks the fourth of eight players that the Dolphins are allowed to bring back from injured reserve this season.
Dolphins designated Patrick McMorris to return. He will be 4th of 8 possible to come off IR…. Guys on PUP – Chubb, Goode, Wynn – not ready but they don't count toward 8 anyway

Miami could soon be in jeopardy of running low on those those remaining spots, as McDaniel indicated that the Dolphins will eventually bring back quarterback Tyler Huntley as well. Huntley was placed on injured reserve after he suffered a shoulder injury against the Colts last month.
These 8 spots filling up quickly. McDaniel implied today that Huntley will be brought back; he would be a 5th of 8 maximum. A sixth next week could be Blake Ferguson, unless Dolphins opt to fill long snapper the rest of the season with random people and practice squad elevations. https://t.co/30FAzHyulX

Huntley filled in for the injured Tua Tagovailoa adequately for a short stretch. He started three games for the Dolphins earlier on in the season, and he was Miami’s starting signal-caller when the team picked up its latest win, which came against the New England Patriots on Oct. 6.
Dolphins tackle Austin Jackson wasn’t seen during the media-viewing portion of practice on Thursday. It’s unclear why. A few other players also weren’t seen, possibly due to rest.
Dolphins right tackle Austin Jackson not seen during media viewing portion of Thursday practice. A previous injury for him is not known.
Also missing were Terron Armstead, Calais Campbell and Jordan Poyer, all who could be vet rest.

The Dolphins are practicing without starting right tackle Austin Jackson, which explains the signing of Ryan Hayes.

A couple of other updates were also provided on others.
Zach Sieler (eye) returned to practice for Miami Dolphins on Thursday.
Jevon Holland (knee/hand) went through stretch and worked with a trainer.

The Dolphins can snap their three-game losing streak with a much-needed victory over the Rams. So long as Miami’s defense plays better than it has in each of the team’s last two contests, the team should have a puncher’s chance to come out on top.
