Report: Miami Dolphins announce whether Tua Tagovailoa will suit up vs. Cincinnati Bengals
- Updated: December 6, 2020
The Miami Dolphins announced that Tua Tagovailoa will be active for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Tagovailoa, the No. 5 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, missed last week’s game with a thumb injury and his status for Week 13 had been up in the air.
Tua is up, Myles Gaskin is too.
No Malcolm Perry though or two other RBs. Maybe some Lynn Bowden Jr. in the wildcat to help the run game. https://t.co/B0ZHh9N48U

Tagovailoa will presumably get the start over veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick helped guide Miami to a win over the New York Jets in Week 12.
The Dolphins are 3-1 this season with Tagovailoa as the starter. However, he was benched in his last start against the Denver Broncos.
The Dolphins lost to Denver, and Tagovailoa threw for just 83 yards before exiting the game.
Cincinnati should be a much easier matchup in Week 13. The Bengals will be without rookie quarterback Joe Burrow for the season after he suffered a major knee injury.
Dolphins fans will surely be happy if their rookie quarterback can get back on the field on Sunday.
