Terron Armstead claps back at Miami Dolphins fan questioning him about play vs. Baltimore Ravens

Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Terron Armstead clapped back at a Dolphins fan for questioning him about a play that occurred in the team’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Dec. 31.

The Dolphins and Armstead suffered arguably their worst loss of the season against Baltimore. The Dolphins lost by a final score of 56-19 and were outscored in each of the game’s final three quarters after holding a 10-7 edge over the Ravens at the end of the first.

Armstead has spent the lion’s share of his NFL career playing for the New Orleans Saints, who selected him with the No. 75 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent the first nine seasons of his pro career with New Orleans before he signed with the Dolphins in the 2022 offseason.

The 32-year-old is in his second season with the Dolphins franchise. In his first season with the team, he started in 13 of Miami’s 17 regular-season games and earned a Pro Bowl nod, the fourth of his career. So far during the 2023 regular season, he has appeared in nine games for Miami.

Injuries have prevented Armstead from suiting up in as many games as he did a season ago. Early on in the 2023 season in a matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 1, Armstead suffered a knee injury. Then, in Miami’s win over the Washington Commanders on Dec. 3, he injured his ankle.

Following the Dolphins’ loss to the Ravens, the team currently owns an 11-5 record, which is the best record in the AFC East division. The Bills are right behind the Dolphins, though, as they are 10-6 and have arguably been playing better football than Miami has over the past month, seeing as how they have won four games in a row.

The Dolphins will have a chance to hand the Bills their first loss in over a month and end their winning streak when the two teams play each other in Miami on Jan. 7 to wrap up the 2023 regular season.
