Report: Miami Dolphins OL takes another hit with latest injury news

The Miami Dolphins’ offensive line is being ravaged by the injury bug right now. Robert Jones is doubtful for the team’s matchup against the New York Jets on Friday, while Robert Hunt, Lester Cotton, Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson are all questionable.

The team’s offensive line took another hit with the recent injury news that Kendall Lamm has been added to the injury report as questionable.

Lamm has appeared in 10 games (six starts) for the Dolphins so far during the 2023 regular season, his second as a member of the organization. Before joining the Dolphins, he played for the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.

With more than half of the regular season in the books, the Dolphins are in prime position to finish with the top record in the AFC East. They own a 1.5-game lead over the Buffalo Bills for the best record in the division, while the other two teams in the AFC East — the New England Patriots and Jets — are below .500.

The Dolphins have fared well against opponents in their division this season, as evidenced by their 2-1 record against AFC East teams. Miami’s two wins came against the Patriots, first on Sept. 17 and again on Oct. 29. The Dolphins won their first matchup versus New England by seven points and second game by 14 points.

Miami’s lone loss to an AFC East opponent was against the Bills back on Oct. 1, which was also the team’s first loss of the season.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen starred in the win against the Dolphins, as he threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns compared to zero interceptions. Conversely, Tua Tagovailoa threw for 282 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The Bills dominated Miami on their way to a 48-20 win.

Even though the Dolphins’ offensive line is pretty thin right now, the team is still favored to pick up a win against the Jets on Friday. After playing the Jets, the Dolphins will then play the Washington Commanders on the road on Dec. 3.
